It was a wedding like no other. One of the highlights from Justin & Bec’s wedding was definitely the buildup to the ceremony. After getting ready, Bec, her family, and her bridesmaids walked from The Royce on St Kilda Road, past the school Justin works at, past their home and on to the botanical gardens, where they always hung out. The walk there was pretty much the story of their lives.
After the ceremony I got to hang out with the newly weds, and we walked around the area for photos, even stopping by their usual cafe for a drink of water! They then showed me around Melbourne Grammar, Justin’s workplace, and what a treat that was! It was like a secret nugget of history hidden in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
The reception was held at a cozy cafe in the middle of the city, which had a stone laneway right beside it. As the guests lined both sides of the laneway, they kicked the night off with a fiesta, introducing the bridal party as they danced through the guests.
